Discover the very best of Peru and Ecuador on this well researched itinerary. Combine the magic of Cusco, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca with the markets of Otavalo, the stunning 'Avenue of the Volcanoes' and the unique wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. From Lima, we fly across the backbone of the Andes to Cusco and the Sacred Valley where we discover the heartland of the Inca Empire. From the magnificent Machu Picchu we cross the vast altiplano to Lake Titicaca. The next stage of our journey incorporates Quito’s colonial architecture, the Indian markets of Otavalo, the volcanic spine of Ecuador and Cotopaxi National Park, the famous Devil's Nose Train, the ruins at Ingapirca and the colonial town of Cuenca. After such a pulsating 2 weeks of travel we embark on our grand finale, a relaxing Galapagos cruise on the deluxe motor yacht, the Beluga. In this incredible archipelago where many of Darwin's theories evolved, we discover unique volcanic islands, a plethora of birdlife, giant Galapagos tortoise, sea lions, marine iguana and Galapagos penguins.
