Colorado: storms

 

A storm system approaching from the southwest is causing several winter travel advisories in Colorado. Snow is forecast to move into western Colorado Tuesday evening, with snow sweeping over the Front Range from midnight to 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Preliminary snow forecast amounts for the Front Range are from 1 to 4 inches, with 4 to 8 inches in the foothills. Possible snow accumulations for the northern foothills and Front Range Mountains will be from 8 to 14 inches and for the southern foothills from 4 to 8 inches are possible.
