Cape Town: Flights delay due to weather conditions

Cape Town –  OR Tambo International Airport is experiencing delays on inbound and outbound flights due to adverse weather conditions and low visibility, Airports Company South Africa confirmed via a post on its Facebook page.

“This has also resulted in some flights being diverted. In the interest of passenger safety, we request understanding and co-operation during this time. Passengers are encouraged to contact their respective airlines for an update on their flights,” Acsa said.

SAA confirmed to Traveller24 it was experiencing some delays, impacting the arrival and/or departures of certain flights.

“Due to inclement weather, SAA decided to divert eight flights to other airports in the country and to one neighbouring SADC country,” SAA spokesperson Tlali Tlali said.
