Happy New Year
2016 Recap and Best Wishes for 2017
Brian Robertson, Chief Operating Officer
To our valued clients, partners and industry colleagues,
First, I want to wish each and every one of you the very best as we head into 2017. Reflecting on this past year, I am proud of what we have achieved together in travel management – what a year it was! We are fully committed to offering our clients a more personalized and responsive approach to the business of travel – and 2016 was one of our most accomplished years yet to that end – but we couldn’t do it without your partnership.
This past year marked some major accomplishments for Vision Travel. In particular, we were the only Canadian-owned agency to make Travel Weekly’s Power List, coming in at #24. We also officially opened our new Calgary Canada Place office.
While 2016 wasn’t without it’s challenges, I believe I can speak on behalf of everyone at Vision Travel when I say we are left inspired by what we can achieve when we come together for a good cause. The Vision Travel Foundation expanded its reach this year, supporting relief efforts for those impacted by the Fort McMurray wildfires and the Ecuador earthquakes. We also had the opportunity to make a Wish Child’s Disney dream come true, as well as assemble and donate bikes for children in disadvantaged areas at our national conference, Power of Vision.
As we officially bid farewell to 2016, we want to end on a note of thanks. We couldn’t do it without your support and valued partnerships with us. We have a lot of exciting things coming up this year and look forward to continuing to work closely with you. Thank you and best wishes to you and your families for 2017!
