Two thousand Ground Handlers Strike Threat

Tegel Airport Strike and Schonefeld Airport Strike

Air Berlin, Lufthansa

First possible indefinite strike date Wednesday, 8th March. Verdi should give 12 hours notice of strike action.

Update:-Friday 3 March 2017 Union workers voted overwhelmingly for strike action. Verdi union meeting is to take place on the 7th when more information will be released. World’s largest tourist expo in Berlin starts the 8th, 180,000 visitors. It’s getting more and more likely that your flight could be cancelled next week to Berlin’s Tegel or Schonefeld Airport.
