Determining Value

September 16, 2010 | General

I have to tell you the travel business is smoking right now. I couldn’t be busier and also couldn’t be more thrilled that the word “recession” is not the conversation around the water cooler.

People are travelling. Not only are they making plans to still travel in 2010 but also in 2011 and 2012.

After the last couple years of highs and lows, gain and loss in the economy, people want the security that they are getting the value they deserve.

The word value can have many different meanings. For a college student with a week between exams and a minimal student loan, value likely means finding the most economical hotel on Daytona Beach. For a young family with two children under the age of five, value likely means reasonable flight times and a property that caters to children. For a professional and highly educated couple, value likely means having a top notch guide who is flexible and knows where to find the best winery in the region.

For me personally value is walking away from a trip not thinking once about how much I paid, whether I got an incredible deal or paid ridiculously too much, if I can take away the memories made and experiences had, and not the dollar amount...that is where I find value.

So here are some incredible values on some amazing travel opportunities to fit all budgets and hopefully meet all definitions of value!
