The Seat to the Sun Contest begins September 3rd, 2019 and ends October 31st, 2019 (the “contest period”). Enter the contest by booking a vacation package or cruise by October 31, 2019 to the Caribbean, Mexico or Hawaii with Norwegian Cruise Lines, WestJet Vacations, Sunwing Vacations or Transat (collectively the “Travel Suppliers”) for travel from September 3, 2019 to April 30th, 2020, through a Vision Travel Solutions travel advisor during the contest period. Your booking will automatically in the contest. NO purchase is necessary. You can also enter the contest with no purchase necessary at www.visiontravel.ca/vacations/seat-to-the-sun. There is a limit of one entry per person/couple. Bookings or entries must be completed by 11:59pm on the 31st day of October, 2019.
Neither Vision Travel Solutions nor the participating Travel Suppliers are responsible for any entries destroyed, mutilated, lost or misdirected. All information collected for this contest is protected against unauthorized access. Vision Travel Solutions will not willfully disclose individually identifiable information about a contestant to any third party, other than the Travel Suppliers, without first receiving a contestant’s permission. There will be a total of three (3) prizes available to be won. The random draw will take place on November 1st 2019 and the winners will be announced November 4th, 2019. Each prize will consist of the reimbursement of the cost of the base package price and taxes only of the booked vacation or, if the winner had entered online by No purchase necessary a Travel Voucher Credit for packages to the Caribbean, Mexico or Hawaii, for up to two (2) people up to a maximum of $2,500.00 per person or $5,000.00 per couple, payable to the winners only, by cheque after final payment date of the booking. The winner’s travel must be completed by April 30th, 2020 and cannot be extended beyond that date. If a winner has only paid a portion of the cost of the booked vacation package to his or her Travel Supplier, the winner will be reimbursed the paid portion only and the balance of the prize will be paid by Vision Travel to the Travel Supplier with whom the package is booked. If the booked vacation package is cancelled for any reason, the amount of the prize received by a winner must be paid back to Vision Travel Solutions or if applicable, will be refunded by the Travel Supplier to Vision Travel Solutions. If the amount of the prize is inadvertently refunded to the winner, the winner shall reimburse Vision Travel Solutions the amount received.
The winner and his/her travel guest must each have proof of valid travel documents prior to ticketing. The winner and his/her travel guest must be Canadian residents, not resident in the Province of Quebec and have reached the age of majority. Winners cannot be employees of Vision Travel Solutions or a participating Travel Supplier, their advertising or promotional agencies or family members of an employee with whom they are domiciled. The winner and his/her travel companion must travel together. The winner and his/her travel companion must have the legal right to leave Canada and to return to Canada and must have the legal right to enter and leave the destination country to which they are bound. They are fully responsible for obtaining, at their own expenses, all documentation necessary for the trip as required by the authorities concerned, including, but not limited to, visas, passports, vaccinations and certificates. These shall be obtained before departure. All of the personal expenses of the winner and his/her travel companion and all expenses not included in the vacation package are their sole responsibility. Vision Travel Solutions assumes no responsibility of any nature whatsoever for any postponement, delay or cancellation of the flight or any other component of the packages or of any other transportation, amenity or benefit which is part of the vacation package for any reasons whatsoever, including, but not limited to, weather conditions, equipment breakdown or other causes beyond its control.
The selection of the winners will be made by random draw by Vision Travel Solutions at its head office at 251 Consumers Road, Suite 700, Toronto, Ontario M2J 4R3 on the 1st day of November, 2019. The selected entrant will be contacted by telephone and will be required to correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question, confirm his or her eligibility, and complete a standard declaration and release before being declared a winner. Winner must have a valid e-mail and residential address and home telephone number. The winner will then be instructed how to claim the prize. If the selected entrant fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, cannot confirm eligibility, or does not respond to the telephone notification within two (2) weeks of the selection date, that entrant will be disqualified and another entrant randomly selected. The process will be repeated as necessary until a winner is declared. By entering the contest, the entrants agree to be bound by the rules of the contest and agree with respect to all aspects of this contest. All entries become the property of Vision Travel Solutions, who reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value should this prize become unavailable for any reason and to cancel this promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to, printing or production errors pertaining to the contest promotional materials, unavailability of the prize due to situations with the participating Travel Suppliers which are beyond the reasonable control of Vision Travel Solutions or if any virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Vision Travel Solutions corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Vision Travel Solutions is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received by Vision Travel Solutions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to the entrant’s or any other person’s computer, related to or resulting from downloading any materials in this promotion. Vision Travel Solutions reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify the contest rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the contest.
