Thala Beach Nature Reserve - this Eco-friendly wildlife retreat is located 10 minutes from Port Douglas and 45 minutes from the city centre of Cairns. It is set on 145 acres of native forest on a private headland and has its own private beach. It features an organic coconut plantation and natural swimming pools formed by granite boulders and waterfalls.
